Hello everyone, I'm back !! After 3 months at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, I'm finally out..! I'm so glad to come back to home but I'm going to pursue a rehabilitation before returning to the hospital for an another operation...
First, I would like to thank you all. The Pakistani army chief Ashfaq Kayani and Imran Khan came to my bedside, and the Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf too. I thank them and I thank you also. You were there for me and you supported me during this terrible ordeal. This attack was a shock to me and I realize that we're not safe anywhere. Fear came over me every day but anyway, I'll continue to fight for girls' education in Pakistan because they deserve it. I know my behavior is dangerous, but I think that every girls should have a good education, even if we live in a sexist society where the Taliban reign. I know that my attack was condemned by the government, but I also know that my attacker fled and are untraceable. (The information minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mian Iftikhar Hussain, has announced a reward of 10 million Pakistani rupees for anyone helping to capture him if you're interested haha)
So, now I'm better and I went out yesterday from the hospital. My life has resumed its course but I know nothing will be as before. This kind of event changes everything in a life. Not just in my life but in the lives of all the young girls who live in Pakistan. And I want to promise you : we'll fight together, all of us, to finally obtain this world of peace we dreamed so much about. I swear.
I made this article to thank you and I hope it will touch you. Thank you all ♥ ♥
(And to show you that I'm better, I made a little photograph !)
